Catherine Barnich

Catherine Barnich holds a law degree from Brussels University (ULB – 1989).

Since being admitted to the Brussels bar in 1989, Catherine has practised real estate law.

She joined H&K as a partner in 2003.

She specialises in construction law. She assists clients in preparing, drafting and negotiating contracts (architecture, engineering, works, project management, bills of conditions, etc.), and defends their interests in the whole range of disputes linked to their performance or post-completion guarantees. The projects she acts in concern both industrial or commercial properties and office and residential properties. In relation to public works contracts, she particularly deals with the execution stages. 

Catherine also works in the field of landlord and tenant (for office, commercial and residential properties) and the law of joint ownership. She also acts in real estate transactions, whether involving sale, lease, long lease, building rights or usufruct.

She occasionally chairs training sessions on construction law, lease law or the law of joint ownership.

Her main areas of interest are reading, the piano, hiking and sailing.

Françoise Blaise

Françoise Blaise holds a law degree from Brussels University (ULB – 1992). Since being admitted to the Brussels bar in 1992, Françoise has practised real estate law at H&K. She became partner in 2003.

Françoise has built up particularly vast experience in the field of “Retail”. She provides clients with legal support in relation to creating, expanding and managing the development of their networks in Belgium and abroad, mainly in terms of commercial, office and industrial property, but also spends time working on residential property cases.

Françoise also acts in real estate deals, whether involving sales, purchases, leases, long leases, building rights or usufruct, concerning real estate properties or companies. In this regard, she has acquired experience on both the national market and in international markets such as Luxembourg, Poland, Ukraine, Morocco, France and Spain, to name a few, in conjunction with local structures.

She also works on drawing up construction, architects’ and engineering contracts, plus bills of conditions, prior to property construction, or on drafting contracts for the day-to-day operation of real estate complexes once built.

Quentin de Radiguès

Quentin de Radiguès holds a law degree from Brussels University (ULB – 1990).

Quentin has always focused his practice on the field of administrative law and public law. Having started his practical training within a department of the Brussels government, in 1995 he switched to the bar and continued his attorney training at the firm of Stibbe, in the planning and environmental law department.

In 2003, he joined H&K as a partner.

Quentin deals with cases involving town and country planning, urban planning, the environment and the protection of heritage sites, whether in support of real estate projects or in the administration of litigation, before official authorities, in the regular courts or before the Supreme Administrative Court and Constitutional Court. He also has experience in drafting statutory and regulatory texts.

Quentin has been a lecturer at the Institut René Guilbert (town and country planning and environmental law). He writes for a number of legal journals and occasionally chairs various seminars and training sessions on planning and environmental law.

He currently is lecturer of the "theoretical and legal framework" course of the Certificate of Executive Master in Architectural Heritage at the VUB/ULB. He is a member of the Royal Commission of Monuments and Sites.

His main free time activities are hill-walking, reading and history.

Dimitri Oldenhove

Dimitri Oldenhove holds a law degree from the Catholic University of Louvain (UCL – 2005). He has been a member of the Brussels bar since 2006, which is when he joined the firm of H&K.
Dimitri mainly works on cases involving construction law, joint ownership and court work (civil and commercial), focusing on real estate.
He also practises landlord and tenant, sale of goods and compulsory purchase law.
His main leisure activities are sport, travel, history, music and the theatre.

Valentine Keuller holds a master’s in law from the UCL (2013) and was admitted to the Brussels bar on 2017.

Danaé Riveros

Danae Riveros holds a law degree from the ULB (1997), and a bilingual (Dutch/French) master’s in intellectual property from Brussels University (KBU – 1999).

She was admitted to the Brussels bar in 1997.

Danae essentially practises landlord and tenant, the law of joint ownership, intellectual property law, compulsory purchase law, and civil and commercial procedure.

She works in French and Spanish and has a good knowledge of German.

Her main free time activities are hockey indoor and outdoor, tennis, skiing and music.

Anaïs De Vito

Anaïs De Vito holds a master's degree in law from the Catholic University of Louvain-la Neuve, obtained in 2019.

She has been registered with the Brussels Bar since October 2019 and since that date has been practicing real estate and commercial law within the H&K firm.

Her preferred areas are notably the commercial lease, commercial contracts, joint ownership as well as civil and commercial procedures related to these matters.

She works mainly in French.

Her hobbies are sports (including racing), music, travel, history and cooking.

Mohamed Asfour

Mohamed Asfour holds a master’s degree in Law, obtained from the Vrije Universiteit Brussel. He is a member of the Brussel’s bar since November 2022. He practices in real estate and construction law, combined with contract law at H&K.

Mohamed can assist you in Dutch, French and English. He also can assist clients needs in Arabic.

In his spare time he likes to learn more about macroeconomics, cryptocurrencies, metaverses, psychology and history.

Emilie Trân

Emilie Trân holds a Master’s degree in Law from Université Catholique de Louvain (2022) and is a member of the Brussels’ Bar since the 3rd October 2022, when she joined H&K.

Emilie’s practice focuses on construction law, joint ownership property and judicial proceedings (civil and commercial) centered on real estate. She is also involved in cases relating to leases, sales and expropriation law.
